Original Rock Tour

Original Rock Tour
Your Gibraltar adventure begins with a scenic drive to the southernmost tip of the peninsula-Europa Point. This iconic viewpoint offers stunning panoramic views across the Strait of Gibraltar, and on a clear day, you can see all the way to the mountains of northern Africa. It's the perfect spot to take in the unique geography and strategic significance of this historic location.
From Europa Point, the tour continues uphill to the Upper Rock Nature Reserve, a protected area rich in natural beauty and wildlife. Here, you'll explore the spectacular St. Michael's Cave, a vast underground network of limestone caverns. Filled with towering stalactites and stalagmites shaped over thousands of years, the cave is not only a geological marvel but also serves as a venue for concerts thanks to its natural acoustics. Please note that exiting the cave involves about 75 steps; however, guests with mobility concerns may exit the way they entered for a more accessible route.
After your visit to the cave, you'll have the chance to meet Gibraltar's most famous residents-the Barbary macaques. These charismatic, free-roaming apes are Europe's only wild monkey population. Known for their playful and sometimes cheeky behavior, they are an unforgettable part of the Rock experience. While they're fun to observe, we recommend keeping personal items secure, as the macaques are known to be curious!
Your journey then continues with a drive past the Moorish Castle, an impressive medieval fortress that stands as a reminder of Gibraltar's centuries-old Islamic history. The drive takes you through the Old Town, showcasing traditional architecture and glimpses of daily life on the Rock.
The tour concludes at bustling Main Street, Gibraltar's central shopping and dining district. At this point, you can choose to leave the tour to explore at your own pace, enjoy some shopping, or grab a bite to eat. Alternatively, you may return to the original meeting point by mini-coach.
Please Note: This tour concludes at Midtown Coach Park. Guests are responsible for making their way back to the pier.
